Data

I have collected data from students here at DHS who are in my Language Arts class. I have learned a lot about language from the students I talked to. I personally think that if you know a different language you learned differently from other people who only speak one language. I have also learned that most of the people who speak more than one language, learned the all the languages when they were little or as they were growing up. Most people learned the language's they speak from either there parents/guardians, or their teachers.

Primary Research

I will collect my data by going around to at least three students in my language arts class that speak a different language. Then I will ask them to take my survey and I will collect the data off my survey papers.

Secondary Research

My secondary research was about a child who spoke a different language than his teacher and a different language than his classmates. So when the teacher was speaking he would just stare off into space and just imagine stuff in his head, but in the end his teacher helped him out and he wasn't afraid to speak in front of other people.

My research plan

I am going to talk to students here at DHS and I am going to record the different languages. I am going to research what languages I think are spoken here at DHS. I am also going to research the languages of Kenya.

My research questions

What are the different languages spoken in DHS by students?
I would like to know this because I think it is interesting having a high school filled with students who speak different languages.
