Goals For My Research

I would like to research about the different languages spoken here at DHS. I would also like to research about our students here at DHS, if they get picked on about the way they speak because it's different.

My Language Beliefs

I believe that everyone speaks their own language, and/or their own dialects. I also believe that you shouldn't pick on someone because they speak differently than you or differently than how the people around you are speaking. I believe that when you speak to someone, or when you are having a conversation with someone who speaks a different language, or dialect than you that you learn more about not only the person, but more about the language they are speaking. I believe this because I have spoken to people with different dialects, and I really have learned more about them, and I've learned more about their dialect/language.
